I just threw up.

What the hell? What are you doing to me baby? I haven’t gotten sick for almost two weeks now, I feel good when I get out of bed every morning, and I had officially declared myself morning sickness free! I am 17 weeks along! WHAT THE HELL!

So yea, because I was trying to “will” the nausea away (because duh, I was officially done with morning sickness), this is the first time I didn’t make it to the bathroom. Yup, I threw up in my wastebasket in my office. I did, thankfully, make it to the door in time to close it, so that the people in the conference room next to my office didn’t have to hear my wretching. How embarrassing.

But afterwards, I was immediately struck with, “What am I supposed to do with the puke now?” Obviously I wasn’t going to let it fester in my office all day, but I also wasn’t going to take the bag out to the communal trash down the hall and let it stink up the whole place! I messaged Ben, because I wasn’t feeling sane enough to make this decision myself, and he said to take it to one of those trash cans outside, so I made him walk downstairs with me and did just that.

What a ridiculous Friday morning. Hope yours is going better!

Man buddy, you just lived my biggest pregnancy fear. Puking at work in a garbage can. I actually kept a small special can near my desk for just that reason. I hope the puking stops soon :( Maybe you need to follow my diet: eat as much junk food as possible, and try to eat 1 apple a day to feel "healthy". I have not puked once. However, I am borderline obese.

I hope your day was better after that!

Oh buddy, I remember throwing up at work all the time but I will say I made it to the bathroom everytime. That is not a fun way to start your day. I hope you get over the morning sicknes. Just remember this is all worth it the minute you hold your child for the first time. Hang in there it will get better. One thing that helped fight the morning urge for me was a warm coke/pepsi in the morning. My cousin gave me the tip and it actually worked. And the doctor said a can of pop is not going to do any harm to the baby. Good Luck!

Thanks ladies =) It's just so strange, I've been feeling great for almost 2 weeks! Whatever, it was a weird fluke I'm hoping. Though Bets, I may consider taking your advice. Actually today it seems I have inadvertantly taken your advice, because I've eaten nothing but junk all day long.

Oh and believe you me Mandy, I am not going obsessive about giving up caffeine. Now that coffee and diet coke taste good again, I just can't give them up. I'm doing a good job cutting back, but there's no way I could eliminate that stuff from my diet completely. =)
